Shakespeare & Status

The topic of status has come up a lot so far in rehearsal, so I decided to compile a little guide to navigating Shakespeare and the way he communicates status.

Below is a chart I found regarding the hierarchy that exits within Shakespeare's canon.

Gender is an element that I'm still investigating in regard to how that twists status, and I'll make another post when I compile that information.
